Finally 2020 delivers! Olten, a beautiful town in Switzerland, started snowing fine cocoa powder on August 14, 2020.
It makes sense that this happened in Switzerland, home to the best chocolate producer in the world, instead of anywhere else in the world.

The Lindt & Spruengli chocolate company confirmed that the sweet event was a result of a minor defect in the cooling ventilation for a line for roasted “cocoa nibs” in its flagship factory.
Combined with strong winds on Friday morning, the town was left in fine cocoa dusting.
The chocolate factory team is working tirelessly to fix the problem. However, they assure that the powder is harmless to the residents and environment.
Let it snow!
